Customer E-sign Experience

To sign a document that was sent to you, click on “Click Here To Review The Document” (green button) in the body of the email that you received. Once the button is clicked, the document will open and the document details will be shown on the left-hand side of the page and the actual document will be shown on the right-hand side.

On the upper left-hand side of the signing ceremony page, you will see the total number of fields assigned to you that require their attention. To the right of the page, you will see the Guide Me button, as well as the Document Options button. When you click on “Guide Me”, RealtyBackOffice will walk and guide you through the entire signing process. If you click on the Document Options button, two options are presented to you. You can choose to Decline E-Sign or Finish Later.

To fill out the required fields, after clicking Guide Me, we will direct you to the first field that requires completing. The signer just has to click on the field to sign. You can also type in the text field, click on the date field, and sign in the initial fields, or add a checkmark in the checkmark field.

For signatures or initials, signers can decide to draw with a mouse or select from predefined signature fonts. After signing the document, click Save. Note that once you sign for the first time if another field requires your signature, all you need to do is click on the next signature field and the first applied signature will continue to apply to the other fields that require your signature in the document.

Once all the required fields are completed, the Guide Me button will become an E-Sign Now button and a green arrow will be placed underneath the button as an indication to complete the signing process. When you have reviewed the entire document and are ready to e-sign, click on the E-Sign Now button and accept the Electronic Signature Act by clicking on I Accept in the pop-up window.

If you are the only signer, you will receive an email right away after the completion of the signing ceremony with a copy of the signed document for your records. If there are multiple signers then a copy will be sent to everyone including the realtor once the document is signed by all signers.
